Mary Anning is a short film written and directed by Natashia Mattocks as part of the 'NFTS Directing Workshop', a scheme run by the National Film and Television School and sponsored by British production company, EON Productions. The scheme aims to increase the number of women working in screen direction, as well as people from BAME backgrounds and those with disabilities.
Mary Anning is a short drama about the fossil collector, dealer and palaeontologist, who became known around the world for various important finds she made in Jurassic marine fossil beds, in the cliffs along the English Channel at Lyme Regis.
